This Rainbow Grilled Cheese is a fun and colorful lunch or snack that your grandkids will love. Plus, it’s easy to customize with your favorite cheese and bread, so you can make it your own!

Ingredients:

  • Bread (white or wheat)
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or a mix of your choice)
  • Food coloring (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple)
  • Butter

Instructions:

  1. Divide the shredded cheese into six small bowls.
  2. Add a few drops of food coloring to each bowl and stir until the cheese is evenly colored.
  3. Toast the bread in a toaster or on a griddle.
  4. Sprinkle the colored cheese onto one slice of bread in a rainbow pattern (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple).
  5. Place the other slice of bread on top and spread a thin layer of butter on the outside of each slice.
  6. Heat a pan over medium heat and place the sandwich in the pan.
  7. Cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, flipping once to cook both sides.
  8. Cut the sandwich into triangles and serve.

So give their grilled cheese a rainbow upgrade and watch as their eyes fill with joy at this cheesy culinary canvas! 🙂
