In the video below, we see 85-year-old Winifred who has been having a hard time ever since her daughter, Barbara, passed away about a year ago unexpectedly. So her granddaughter, Billie, came up with the perfect idea for a gift to give Winifred on her birthday this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Billie remembered that during the pandemic, family members had recorded video messages to send to Grandma wishing her a happy birthday. So she took Barbara’s audio and headed to Build-A-Bear to do something special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now any time Grandma Winifred wants to her the voice of her late daughter, she can do so with the press of a button on the teddy’s paw. It takes her a moment to figure out what exactly she’s looking at and hearing upon opening her gift, but when it all comes together, her reaction is everything they’d hoped it’d be.
