Catherine Satterfield of Tennessee talked all about life in the Great Depression back in 2017, and the video has amassed hundreds of thousands of views. Most comments say, “the young generation needs to hear what this woman says.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I might be biased but I agree. This is interesting for me as well and it reminds me of my own grandmother from many many years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love this – it’s really special. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catherine lived to be 105 years old and passed away in October of 2020 on the farm where she was born in 1915. She loved taking care of her flowers and spent many years working alongside her husband on the farm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
